Nancy has always had a love of dogs, she grew up with miniature poodles.  In 1998 Nancy became one of the leaders of

the Gloucester County 4-H K9 Krusaders Dog Club.  And then in 2000 Nancy became a co-leader of the Gloucester

County Forward to the Future Seeing Eye Puppy Raisers Club. She has raised 4 seeing eye puppies. She left both clubs

in 2003 when she became the president of the Gloucester County 4-H Fairboard Associatioin .In 2007 Nancy was asked

to become the leader again for the 4-H dog club. The club re-organized and changed the name to Canine Can Do.

In August of 2014 she began training at Joe Nick K9 Training Center in Vineland. She learned how to teach a dog to

find bed bugs and how to track a missing person. Nancy also became certified as a dog trainer. In April 2015 Starr Dog

Academy opened their doors.

Nancy is also on the board of The Southern New Jersey German Shepherd Dog Club.  She has 4 German Shepherd dogs

of her own.  She does tracking, scent work, barn hunt and obedience training with them.

Tily (dog in picture) is a 10-year-old German Shepherd Dog.  She has gone everywhere and done just about everything.

She had to retire last year as my demo dog at Starr and as my service dog.  She has been very hard to replace.  May

everyone have a Tily in their life.
